Currently, This pauses videos when the tab or window loses focus and resumes them when focus returns.

But I want to make the extension prioritize the active tab’s video or audio and handle background tabs more intelligently. Here’s how:

  • If the active tab (let’s call it A) is playing video or audio, keep it playing and pause all other tabs (call them B).
  • If A stops playing, start B playing again.
  • If I switch to a new tab (call it C):
    • If C has no video or audio, keep A playing.
    • If C has video or audio, pause A and B, and play C.
  • If C stops or closes, start A again first.

This would make the extension feel more natural—keeping the media We’re focused on playing while managing the rest automatically!
