CT is for AC only, not for batteries, which are DC sources. #38999

Feedback

conceptual mistake: CT stands for Current Transformer, in electrical engineering, transformers only work for AC current as it relies on change of flux in the core. Batteries are DC sources, CTs would not work. Hall effect current sensors or shunts work for dc.
