Try clicking a little higher than center on the button. The hit-box must be messed up. You should see the tooltip pop up when you're in the right spot. I just tested and it seems like an issue with all the buttons. It also depends on the zoom level of VCV. At 100 percent the issue is worse than when zoomed in. We'll put out a fix as soon as possible.

Hi, I'm experiencing this issue as well. I am able to see the tooltip when I hover, and when I click the button, it reacts visually by darkening but does not open the config screen. I am on MacOS with VCVRack2.5.2
