Hi Team,

While checking the jquery Selectric demo with NVDA screen reader, I am facing issue in reading the text.

Steps to reproduce the issue:

Turn on the NVDA screen reader
Open the jquery Selectric demo
https://selectric.js.org/demo.html

Open the drop-down by using mouse click
Now press the down arrow, it will focus in to li element but screen reader reads as "BLANK".

I have added role=list for ul and listitem for li but doesn't works. Tried with roles menu, menuitem, presentation but nothing works.

Any one please suggest how to resolve this issue ?

If it is a known issue, is any work around solutions available ?
