Async communication is not a good match for the static computational graph structure employed by jax/xla.

It might be possible but I doubt that it would be a good match and lead to good performance.

Of course, if a PR that works correctly were to be put forward we would not refuse it.

Async communication with MPI4JAX is possible, yet enabling JIT can result in data errors, necessitating additional efforts to address these issues.
