Forgot Login Details

We’re currently updating the way you log in to your account. If you can't log in, select the situation that applies to you below and follow the steps to get back into your account.

I forgot the email address on my account
To log in, or recover your login details:
1. From the Login page, select Forgot Email.
2. Go back to the old login page.
3. Enter your username and password and select Login.
4. If you don’t know your username or password, click on the Forgot Username or Password link.
5. Enter the username, or email address, you think could be on your account (don’t enter both!) Select Continue.
  Username: Check your email inbox— if you have an account associated with your username, you’ll get an email with a password reset link. You’re all set!
  Email: If you have an account with your email address, you'll get an email with a list of usernames associated with your account email address. Click on a username which will take you to the Forgot Password page with your selected username ready to go. Click Continue. Check your email inbox for the password reset email.
If you don’t receive an email from us, you can try a different username or email address, or contact support.
I use my email address to log in, and forgot my password
Tip! These steps are for the new login process. You may still be using your email address as a username, and can follow the next steps.
To reset your password:
1. Select Forgot Password.
2. Enter your email address and select Send code.
3. Check your email for the password reset code, enter it on the password reset page, and select Next.
4. Create a new password and click Reset password to save.
I still login with my username, and forgot my username or password
If you haven’t changed your account to the new login process, you may have forgotten your login details, or have multiple accounts with different usernames.
1. Go to the Forgot Password or Username page.
2. Enter your account email address, but leave the username box blank!
3. Select Continue.
4. Check your email inbox—you'll get an email with a list of usernames associated with your account email address.
5. Select a username which will take you to the Forgot Password page with your selected username ready to go. Make sure to leave the email box blank!
6. Click Continue.
7. Check your email inbox for the password reset email.
I need to reset my password
To reset your password:
1. Go to the Forgot Password or Username page.
2. Enter your email address and select Send code.
3. Check your email for the password reset code, enter it on the password reset page, and select Next.
4. Create a new password and click Reset password to save.
I didn't get the password reset code or email
It can take up to 10 minutes for the email to show up in your inbox. If it's been longer, the email may be in your spam or junk folder, or it's being blocked by your email security settings.
To unblock SurveyMonkey emails:
1. Add surveymonkey@go.surveymonkey.com to your email's safe senders list.
2. Add our info to your allow list in your email account (or pass this along to your IT team).
3. Re-try the forgot password steps again.
I entered a password reset code or new password, but still can't log in
If you’re using the new login process and received a reset code, check that you’re entering the most recent code. Codes expire 10 minutes after your request, or if a new one is requested.
If you’re still logging in with a username, check that you’re entering the correct username or email address for the account you’re trying to access. Your username may be different from the email address associated with your account or you may have multiple accounts associated with the same email address.
If you're not sure what your username is, enter your email on the forgot password page and leave the username field blank.
Whether you’re requesting a code, or entering your username or email address, ensure your browser isn’t storing outdated login information. Clear your cache and cookies, close and reopen your browser, and try logging in again with your username and new password.
