This research used the experimental method. The experiments were not carried out in the learning process but were carried out after obtaining the answer patterns and scores of the test participants through the implementation of a High Order Thinking Skills test. The sampling technique was carried out with the Stratified Random Sampling with data analysis techniques using the T-test. The results of the study stated that there were differences in the accuracy of vertical equivalence of the equilibrium method in High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) between students of class X with Class XI SMK Building Engineering for the anchor proportion 10%, 15 and 20%.

This research applies the Research and Development (R & D) method with the Borg and Gall model which is limited to small group trials. Media validation is used for expert validation with Aiken's V formula and assessment of students using a test. The validation results show that the media is suitable to be used. The results of the pre-test and post-test that were analyzed by t-test obtained a significant t-count of 5.052 from 36 students. To measure the competence of the artisan, an instrument is needed. The instrument used can be used as a reference for evaluating competencies that are by the standards and conditions in the field which later can help create artisan who is qualified and able to keep abreast of the developments that occur in the world of construction today. This study aims to determine whether the existing brick installation work instruments are by the standards and needs in the field. This study uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires aimed at experts to obtain expert recognition or justification of existing instruments. From the results of the study, according to the expert justification, it was found that there were several items of masonry work that were rarely used and not including core work or more precisely the work was only done if there were orders from owners and valuation methods that were considered less objective in assessing job competencies brick couple. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang gaya belajar dan prestasi belajar peserta... more Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang gaya belajar dan prestasi belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran produktif di SMK Negeri 8 Kota Bandung. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, sebanyak 35,2% peserta didik memiliki gaya belajar visual, 55,2% peserta didik memiliki gaya belajar auditori, dan 29,6% peserta didik memiliki gaya belajar kinestetik. Secara umum, peserta didik cenderung memiliki gaya belajar visual dan auditori. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa gaya belajar mempunyai hubungan terhadap prestasi belajar. Gaya belajar berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar. Gaya belajar mempunyai kontribusi atau pengaruh sebesar 52% terhadap prestasi belajar peserta didik dan sisanya 48% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak di analisis dalam model.
Competency certification for construction workers is a hot issue discussed in Indonesia today. Th... more Competency certification for construction workers is a hot issue discussed in Indonesia today. The report shows that only 5% of construction workers are certified. This raises various responses regarding the real needs of the competency certification of the construction workers. On the other hand, certification of competence from workers is necessary for facing the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) and the 4.0 industrial revolution is currently underway. The Qualitative survey method using descriptive analysis was used to explore 191 participants who were the consumers of construction workers. The instruments used were questionnaires accompanied by focus group discussions (FGD) and in-depth interviews. The results show that the level of need for the competence of construction workers is high. However, consumers need more workers who have many competencies. Regarding competency certification, socialization, quality, process, and results must be improved through credible institutions and mastering the field of training, measurement, and evaluation. In addition, the pattern of socialization and training to get there must involve experts in the field of education, measurement, and evaluation of training construction and certified skilled workers.

This research used an evaluative method of Kirkpatrick model. This study involved 32 trainers. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires, observation, documentation study, and interview. The result shows that, first, there are only three levels of KTI Training implemented according to the regulation, plans and fulfillment of the evaluation criteria'; the three levels are reaction, learning, and behaviour levels. Second, KTI Training held by Pusbangtendik Kemdikbud still has not significantly showed any impact towards the individual and work units. Therefore, it is recommended for KTI Training program to continue with the improvement efforts on the impact level of KTI Training.

This development research was using Borg & Gall’s model. This research using questionnaire as data collection instrument feasibility of the media through the validation by media experts, material expert and student assesment who join concept and practice of plumbing subject. The results of validation learning media with the percentage feasibility 72,92% are in the “Feasible” category, the result of validation by material expert with the percentage feasibility 86,90% are in the “Very Feasible” category and students assesment with the percentage feasibility 82,07% are in the “Very Feasible” category. This research used the experimental method. The experiments were not carried out in the learning process but were carried out after obtaining the answer patterns and scores of the test participants through the implementation of a High Order Thinking Skills test. The sampling technique was carried out with the Stratified Random Sampling with data analysis techniques using the T-test. The results of the study stated that there were differences in the accuracy of vertical equivalence of the equilibrium method in High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) between students of class X with Class XI SMK Building Engineering for the anchor proportion 10%, 15 and 20%.

This research applies the Research and Development (R & D) method with the Borg and Gall model which is limited to small group trials. Media validation is used for expert validation with Aiken's V formula and assessment of students using a test. The validation results show that the media is suitable to be used. The results of the pre-test and post-test that were analyzed by t-test obtained a significant t-count of 5.052 from 36 students. Based on this analysis, it can be concluded that this presentation video learning media is appropriate and effective on a limited scale for learning Hydrology courses in the educational of building engineering, State University of Jakarta. To measure the competence of the artisan, an instrument is needed. The instrument used can be used as a reference for evaluating competencies that are by the standards and conditions in the field which later can help create artisan who is qualified and able to keep abreast of the developments that occur in the world of construction today. This study aims to determine whether the existing brick installation work instruments are by the standards and needs in the field. This study uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires aimed at experts to obtain expert recognition or justification of existing instruments. From the results of the study, according to the expert justification, it was found that there were several items of masonry work that were rarely used and not including core work or more precisely the work was only done if there were orders from owners and valuation methods that were considered less objective in assessing job competencies brick couple. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang gaya belajar dan prestasi belajar peserta... more Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang gaya belajar dan prestasi belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran produktif di SMK Negeri 8 Kota Bandung. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, sebanyak 35,2% peserta didik memiliki gaya belajar visual, 55,2% peserta didik memiliki gaya belajar auditori, dan 29,6% peserta didik memiliki gaya belajar kinestetik. Secara umum, peserta didik cenderung memiliki gaya belajar visual dan auditori. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa gaya belajar mempunyai hubungan terhadap prestasi belajar. Gaya belajar berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar. Gaya belajar mempunyai kontribusi atau pengaruh sebesar 52% terhadap prestasi belajar peserta didik dan sisanya 48% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak di analisis dalam model.

Th... more Competency certification for construction workers is a hot issue discussed in Indonesia today. The report shows that only 5% of construction workers are certified. This raises various responses regarding the real needs of the competency certification of the construction workers. On the other hand, certification of competence from workers is necessary for facing the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) and the 4.0 industrial revolution is currently underway. The Qualitative survey method using descriptive analysis was used to explore 191 participants who were the consumers of construction workers. The instruments used were questionnaires accompanied by focus group discussions (FGD) and in-depth interviews. The results show that the level of need for the competence of construction workers is high. However, consumers need more workers who have many competencies. Regarding competency certification, socialization, quality, process, and results must be improved through credible institutions and mastering the field of training, measurement, and evaluation. In addition, the pattern of socialization and training to get there must involve experts in the field of education, measurement, and evaluation of training construction and certified skilled workers.

This research is aimed at evaluating the programs of education and training of scientific papers ... more This research is aimed at evaluating the programs of education and training of scientific papers (KTI training) for trainers in Pusbangtendik Kemdikbud. This research used an evaluative method of Kirkpatrick model. This study involved 32 trainers. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires, observation, documentation study, and interview. The result shows that, first, there are only three levels of KTI Training implemented according to the regulation, plans and fulfillment of the evaluation criteria'; the three levels are reaction, learning, and behaviour levels. Second, KTI Training held by Pusbangtendik Kemdikbud still has not significantly showed any impact towards the individual and work units. Therefore, it is recommended for KTI Training program to continue with the improvement efforts on the impact level of KTI Training.
