414K views · 2K reactions | Crockpot Beef Stew | Crockpot Beef Stew Perfect dish for a cold day Original video by Network Media LLC, My Life and Robyn Q | By My Life | I have three carrots that I'm going to chop up in the bite-size pieces. I'm going to add this to my Crock Pot. I have two pieces of celery that I washed and trimmed. Add that right next to my carrots. I have some baby potatoes that I've washed and I quartered mine. Also have about a cup of peas and I'm going to add them in. You know how much I love my fresh herbs. I'm going to sprinkle with a teaspoon or so of fresh thyme and you definitely can rosemary, parsley, whatever you like. Got two pounds of stew meat and to that I'm going to add half a teaspoon of garlic powder. Half a teaspoon of pepper and a teaspoon of salt. And lastly some flour. And I'm going to add probably three tablespoons worth. Sprinkle that in the bowl. We're just going to toss this together till it's all nice and coated. Alright. We're going to add that stew meat to my Catherine pan. And I did drizzle some olive oil in it. We're just going to cook this up just so it gets a little brown, alright? Our stew meat is nice and brown and I have diced up one onion and I'm just going to add that in. Get it a little tender and help deglaze that pan. Alright, our onions are becoming translucent. So, I'm just going to add about a cup of beef broth to this just to deglaze that pan even more because we want all of those bits in our stew. Alright, I'm going to add that stew meat and those onions that we cooked up and put that right on top of those veggies. I have one tablespoon of washture sauce and I'm going to pour that on. I've got my beef stock and I just going to add the rest of that container in here. Perfect. One more ingredient. I'm going to add some DA juice but you can use just tomato juice and I'm going to add about one cup in. I think that's perfect. Stir this up and you can do pie for 45 hours or you can cook this on low for seven to eight hours and then this is going to be one delicious beef stew. Alright, let's check on our beef's Stew. Look at that. Just going to stir this. We are going to add some cornstarch and water just to thicken it up a little bit. So, I have two tablespoons of cornstarch and I'm going to add the same amount of water into it. Whisk that together. Alright. So, I'm just going to pour that right on top and I'm just going to let this cook for about 10 more minutes and that is going to thicken this up so nicely. Alright, our beef stew done. Look how beautiful that looks. I'm so excited about trying this. It is hot though. Whoa. Alright. I have everything. Oh that looks so good. One more big scoop. Perfect. Look how beautiful that is and how easy was this? Good as much as I can. There we go. I know this is hot. Mm. Mm. This is delicious. Yum.

Then you're going to add one can of evaporated milk. I'm using the low fat kind. Then you're going to add three eggs beaten. A quarter cup of brown sugar. One cup of regular granulated sugar. Have you figured out what we're making yet? It's delicious. Little bit of vanilla extract. That's one tablespoon. Can you tell the difference between imitation versus the real the real stuff? I don't know. Let me know in the comments. Then I added some cinnamon. Give that a nice stir. And you've got this beautiful consistency. Then we're going to just pour a box of spice cake mix right on top. Do not mix it. If you mix it you're going to ruin it. Use your hands to flatten it out making sure it's nice and even. Then you're going to take a stick of butter into thin slices covering the top some pecans or whatever kind of nuts you like. It's completely up to you. You can customize it how you like. Then you're going to cook this on high for about two to 3 hours. And trust me this is delicious. It's unlike anything I've ever made before. You could make this in the oven too. 350 for 45 minutes, but I like the crock pot. Let me know what you think.
