How does your game represent "Power"?
You must "power on" and "power off" Hubbub the Robot to avoid platforming obstacles!

simple but effective concept - would be interesting to see this fleshed out a little more.
I really liked this game. Nice use of simple mechanics, the maps felt thought through. Well done!
Cool little stop 'n go platformer! The movement is a bit finicky, but it isn't too distracting. The levels are very well designed and paced, introducing new concepts gradually and later putting them to a test. Great job!
Fun little puzzle game, some of the physics on the character are a bit wierd but overall rather good
This game is excellent! Love the simplicity of the one button controls. Nailed the theme. My only gripe is the length. I need more levels!
Thanks for your feedback! I have more level ideas that weren't ready in time for the game jam. :)
You nailed it with this one, simple controls and endearing asset designs. Love the other control block types for changing direction and jumping being passive elements. You should keep developing more levels.
Thanks for the feedback! I already have some ideas for future levels and obstacles. :)
So cool! A very simple mechanic that goes very well with the power theme!
This is absolutely great - the presentation is super cohesive and everything (sound, art, menus, UI) feels like it belongs together, which makes it feel really polished. You clearly have an eye for that kind of thing. The small amount of lore you created is awesome too.
I agree with the commenter below that maybe a space bar pressed/unpressed control scheme might work better for a game like this.
Really nice work!
Thanks so much for your feedback and kind words! :D
The simplicity is this game certainly doesn't detract in any way. The game play is great. Nice level designs. Lots of variety in block types and situations. A one button game like this could do well on mobiles.
Really cool idea love it great job
Awesome puzzle game, the graphics pop well with the cute aesthetic. Great work!
Very cool, I love the meagman influences. The mechanics are easy to learn and fun to use.
I would love to see a speedrun of this game!
I really love the art work on this and the stop/start game play is kinda addictive!
Fun and immediately understandable! I love the aesthetics and there's lots of potential to extend this. Also I noticed that sometimes I'd subconsciously hold the space bar after pressing, I think there's potential for an alternate control scheme where holding space moves you and releasing stops you?
I'll definitely keep that alternate control scheme idea in mind. Thanks for the feedback!
The one-button game is a genre that needs more entries like this! The art direction was fun and fitting. This would also make a great mobile game. :)
I love the spritework and the way the song is additive! No bugs as far as I can tell and fun platforming!
Very unique!! Love the 1 button approach.
Gameplay reminds me of Mario Vs Donkey Kong: March of the minis.
I think adding some music and maybe some effects could really make this shine.
Would really like to see this expanded upon with a little more polish.
I couldn't get pass level 3, sector A, unfortunately. cant get back on the 2nd platform after bumping into the > right arrow block.
Epic game!
Yeah, I think I may have had some subconscious inspiration from the Mario vs. Donkey Kong games. lol Thanks for playing!
You aren't supposed to get back on the 2nd platform. Just run to the Right when the platform is up, Hubbub can make the jump.
This was a unique take on the theme, I think adding some spark effect on the robot will make it communicate better to the players that it is being powered. Other than that great submission!
Thanks for the feedback! :)
This was a cool concept, nice job!
Love the art style!
