You're ready to bake a beautiful cake, but you don't have time to do the whole cake from start to finish in one afternoon. Well, this is where I'm ready to make your life so much easier. Bake your cake rounds in advance, and store them in the freezer until you have time to fill,

Whitney Berge on Instagram: "This is my process to prep your cake for decorating:  1. After baking, let your cakes cool IN THE CAKE PAN for at least 15 minutes. (This is very important!) 2. Once cooled, trim off any rounded top. (As shown in video) 3. Place cake board on top of cake (in the pan), flip cake over, and remove pan. (Shown in video) 4. If you want to cut your layers in half, use a knife, dental floss or wire cake leveler. (Shown in video) 5. To keep layers from sticking together while freezing, use parchment paper to separate the 2 layers.  6. After you’re done cutting & separating the cake layers, place the cakes in the freezer ON THE CAKE BOARD.  7. Freeze cakes for a minimum of 3-5 hours.   **If you plan on using and decorating the cake within 24 hours you do not need to wra Cake Leveler, 3 Layer Cakes, Circle Cake, 8 Inch Cake, Cake Layers, Fashion Art Prints, Layered Cake, Frozen Cake, Cake Board
