Armillaria mellea[1] est fungus edulis generis Armillariae familiae Physalacriacearum.

Magnis gregibus in silvis ad truncos et in ligna iacentia et putrescentia, interdum et in solo ligno satiato autumno crescit. Pileos a 3 ad 10 cm, primo pulvinatos, post planos, squamosos, colore vario a melleo ad fuscum vel olivaceum habet. Stipites ad 10 cm longi et ad duo cm crassi, anulati, basi dilatati, sed sine bulbo, saepe basibus connati sunt.
