  • Call for Papers: Behavioral Genetics as a Public Science: Impacts and Implications

    Genetically informed studies of human behavior captivate a broad audience that extends beyond the academic community. The visibility of behavioral genetics has significantly expanded with the growth of public interest, the democratization of science through open access, and the rapid dissemination of scientific findings online. Unfortunately, misinterpretations and misrepresentations of behavior genetics research have increased as well.


    This special issue will explore the broader impact, understanding, and implications of behavioral genetics research. We welcome submissions that address (mis)interpretations of genetics; explore the social, psychological, or ethical implications of behavioral genetics research; or include public outreach, education, or communication about behavioral genetics.
