The City of Las Cruces has been celebrating the ways that City employees show cariño, but we know that cariño is more than a City theme, it is part of the character of Las Cruces. 🤩 The City is now excited to partner with Las Cruces Public Schools to recognize students that are showing cariño and making the learning environment a place where everyone thrives. Together we call this the Thrive with Cariño program! Students who are identified within the school district to Thrive with Cariño will be recognized publicly at LCPS and the City and will be rewarded with a new t-shirt. 👕 Las Cruces City Council made this announcement at today's meeting with LCPS Superintendent Ignacio Ruiz. We look forward to hearing the stories of young people making a difference in their schools and in Las Cruces.
