Wednesday, November 13, 5:15-6:15pm ET, Wong Auditorium, Open to MIT community
Joseph F. DeCarolis, administrator of the U.S. Energy Information Administration, will speak about modeling and long-term projections for the energy transition. His data-driven examination will show where model-based projections went wrong in the past, current trends in energy system development, and methods to ensure that model-based insights are robust to future uncertainty.
MITEI Presents: Advancing the Energy Transition is a new speaker series connecting the MIT community with experts and leaders who are working on urgently needed scientific, technological, and policy solutions so that, together, we can accelerate the energy transition.
