Steven Maranville, Ph.D., is Chairman of Maranville Enterprises—The Venture Creation Corporation--headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. For over 30 years, Maranville Enterprises has scaled-up the Strategic IQ of unicorn-bound ventures. (A “unicorn” is a venture with a $1 billion valuation.)
As a business advisor to Founders and CEOs, Dr. Maranville coaches, consults, and serves on boards of directors. After earning Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at Brigham Young University, Dr. Maranville received a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Utah with specializations in Entrepreneurship, Business Strategy, and Organizational Transformation.

Dr. Maranville has held Tenured, Visiting, and Guest faculty appointments at prominent colleges and universities. A member of the Academy of Management, the premier association of management educators and scholars, Dr. Maranville is also a life-time member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the academic honor society for schools of business accredited by AACSB-International, and of Phi Kappa Phi, the interdisciplinary academic honor society. Most recently, Dr. Maranville was recognized by the Federation of Business Disciplines with its Outstanding Educator Award.
