@QueerEcofeminist: Hello! Before I grant you a bot flag, I'd like to hear from you. Will you do a test run before mass editing? I'm not going to reject this request because anyone can make a mistake, but the malfunction you made with this bot worries me. Test runs effectively prevent such malfunctions. @Sotiale I am not sure which malfunction are you talking about? Infact there were some wrong edits done by me from my main normal human account but I haven't done any mistakes using bot account. As I haven't done with anything with this bot on this project. Additionally I will be using jwb for adding templates or replacing categories or similar tasks. I can do some test run using jwb . But I already have bot flag on mrwikisource and I don't do mass changes. No major content changes or not more than 50/100 at one go edits I am proposing here. Yes those edits were different story all together as cat a lot was not detecting that category and I had to remove it. While doing it I was not able to remove it with brackets. So I removed the text and brackets were left behind, though now I can deal with the brackets and clean the mess I have created. But that's how I stopped and took time to use my bot on mrsource. Once I make mistake I stop rethink and then go back it. so after that I am taking small batches. QueerEcofeminist🌈 17:10, 4 September 2022 (UTC)

Please, I'm not asking you questions to distrust you or to criticize you. If so, I would have rejected this request. As I mentioned above, what I want you to do is do a test run before future bulk edits, and ask if you can promise that. I just needed a response to it for the granting and I still trust that you can run your bot well. --Sotiale (talk) 21:43, 4 September 2022 (UTC)

@Sotiale, but that's what I said, I am not going to make large changes as of now. And yes I will do test run before starting any batch tasks, and those batch tasks would be small one like of 50/100 at Max. Hope this satisfies your requirement?
