In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. In 2005 I lived in Mississippi and I was asked to sing "This Little Light of Mine" for a local commercial. I was unprepared & had never sang before, yet alone in front of people! I didn't enjoy it but God has a funny way of introducing new things. Frank Ocean, channel ORANGE Jill Scott, Who Is Jill Scott?: Words and Sounds, Vol. 1 Michael Jackson, Off the Wall These three albums right here are timeless pieces of art. These artists are so distinct in taste and approach to story telling. I look up to them above most! Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Dodging Raindrops” What makes this special is that I dreamt this song! I had a vision while sleeping of the exact beat and the melody. The moment I woke up I turned my voice notes on and emulated what I heard by beat boxing and humming the bass line. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My song "Girlfriend" is in the season 2 finale of Netlfix's award winning show "Never Have I Ever". I also play Marcus Jones on the show. So it's a sweet thing when both my music & acting career collide. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? God has big plans for me so sky is the limit. My only desire is to perform at the Superbowl! Once that happens I can rest easy haha :)
