There were compelling sights to be taken in as the Cannes Film Festival kicked off on the French Riviera. Unfortunately, none of them were onscreen in the dreadful opening film “Grace of Monaco”, starring Nicole Kidman as Grace Kelly.

Just as her good friend Naomi Watts is getting bashed for her portrayal of Princess Diana, Nicole Kidman is bravely starting to publicize her own princess movie, this one about Grace Kelly. On Monday a teaser trailer was released for Grace of Monaco, which hits theaters in December. Let's hope the reception for this one is better than Diana, which opens in the UK on Friday.
