We had red and white Hereford cows on our little ranch when I was growing up. But I like the black and white ones better. I am a complete cow novice. I know all of two breeds of black and white cows: Holstein Friesian and Belted Galloway. With my limited knowledge of them, I simply call them all dairy cows. But I do know better than to run around in a cow pasture without watching my step carefully!
