If you were born in 1961, that year older kids were watching a talking horse on TV - Mr. Ed debuted the year you were born - older boomers had seen Donald O'Conner in his movies with Francis the Talking Mule in the past so Ed was not 'that' big of a deal - but it sure was for the younger boomers!
