I used 2 12 inch hoops with an 8 inch hoop for the basket. -White duct tape -Macrame cord (or twine if you prefer) -A wooden ring for the hanger at the top -Hook to hang it from a curtain rod or wherever you plan to hang it! 👉Directions: Connect the two larger hoops at the top using a thin piece of white duct tape. Place the smaller hoop at the bottom between the two larger, securing it with duct tape. Now it’s time to use macrame cord to cover the tape. Here are instructions on how to make a gathering knot. -Cut pieces of cord approximately 24 inches. -Take the cord and make a u shaped loop at one end -Lay the cord on the wooden hoops using your thumb to hold in place with the cut end at the top/looped end at the bottom -Starting below the top end of the cord—which is pointing up—wrap it around the cords and the hoop firmly over and over again from top to bottom. Make sure that you leave a little bit of the loop uncovered at the bottom. -Repeat until you have covered the duct tape and it feels secure. -Take the end and pass it through the loop at the bottom of your wraps. -Pull the end of the cord—that’s sticking up at the top—upwards, which will bring the loop under the wraps. -Pull until the loop is enclosed in the wraps -Trim ends Adjust the length of the top cord to however long you prefer the hanging basket to be, and attach to a small wood ring.
