These cakes are all good. many of them are labeled "Pound Cakes" when they are not. Pound cakes are supposed to have a pound each of butter, sugar, eggs, and flour. Pound Cakes are dense and have a fine, close grain. They are plain with out a lot of extra ingredients, when you start adding extras you often change the texture and remove the cake from the list of real pound cakes. So make your cakes and add anything you wish, enjoy them, call them anything you like except "Pound Cake".
