Chain 10 for foundation row. Use 1 slst to close ring. Ch 1 and work 18 sc in the ring. Close the round with 1 slst to the beginning chain of the ring. This makes the hanger loop of the pot holder. Then work the basic pattern: R1: 4 dc in back loops only. 3 dc in middle stitch, 4dc back loops only. Ch1, repeat this row +1dc at beginning and end of row. End when at desired length.
