A recent similar situation came up for another game I enjoy, and I told them getting someone to translate the game is expensive. Doing a great translation costs a lot more. Before anyone suggests Google, it isn't a great tool to translate. I have done a year and a half learning German and it is fun and interesting. Finding out everything has a gender is a lot to take in.
So I have been struggling to reach Haily corrupt 4. I don't know why but my game doesn't trigger Carla x Haily conversation on Sunday: Morning even though both are corrupt 3+(Carla is even corrupt 5 already) I tried many things but it just doesn't work. What should I do ? Is it a bug ?Do I Start a New Game ?
Nunu you really should feel proud of Cabin by the Lake. Each character has been created with amazing personalities. Each update makes me excited about the game. How much you take into consideration when it comes to polls and the fact that I was able to share my ideas and maybe one day see them in the game makes me so happy I could improve a game I love.
There is pregnancy in the game, it is a harem type game. The MC being a male was not a secret. "Experience an adult sandbox where you explore the many paths and interactions with the girls at a reunion. As your relationship with each of the nine women" "Nine unique girls". What else is there to say? If it bothers you that much just remember that you don't have to play the game.
I don't think so. While an interesting idea, I don't see a lot of specific conversations happening if the MC is a female. I am not sexist, but I really don't see Alex saying, "What your dick does to me is special" or a lot of moments where "cum inside/creampie" to get a pregnancy apply to a female-female situation.
Mr evil is correct, there are no plans to add the option for a female protagonist. While none of the actual relationships and vast majority of the text would change... the sheer effort in redoing the thousands of renders and hundreds of videos makes it untenable, not to mention coming through the entire game for tens of thousands of lines of gendered dialogue.
And Nunu is correct. It would literally be doubling everything. The number of interactions with the mc, the number of dialogs, as well as even the size of the game. Working to add even one simple thing can mean a decent amount of work. In the case of gender addition, it would be like making a CBTL sequel.
seeing hypnotism is a thing and the one aunt who teaches you punishes you for using it for nefarious means what if you had a small bit where she uses her items to briefly turn you into a woman and makes you see what it's like to be a woman. could be an interesting event you could do
One thought I had was I play on the android version, you have multiple CBTL specials which are separate apk files on android. The program I use doesn't display your games full name, so I have to check multiple specials before I find the original (the program I use doesn't have a "sort by name" option). The icon for each is the classic Alex icon. My thought is maybe using a different character portrait for each special.
Hello, could someone help me, I'd like to know how and where I get Sami's moonstone, because I've tried every way and I haven't found anything, could someone teach me?
The problem with it is actually from the reveal guide cheat, as it was flagged to only appear once, and used the guide progress as a marker of having seen the scene.
In cheats you can reset guide progress and the scene will then work. This also effects Lina's moonstone, but should otherwise function completely normally.
I have also fixed for future versions this bug so that it is more robust.
I did enjoy the "cupcakes" scene. Lina was incredible, and again cute. It provides the term less is more. So you definitely earned my applause Nunu. It also proves that Lina is fun to write for. Any moment involving actual dialogue from Lina is going to be a special memorable moment.
so i gotta say. i have still been trying to do the "the beginning achievement" i turned everyones corruptions off, explored the forest. until there was the woman dancing in the fog. i got jumpscared by her, drained, and back to the start of the loop. and have her profile. but not the achievement. do i literally have to fresh start for it to prok?

As for Cassidy, you don't mess with Cassidy. Messing with Cassidy should prompt a warning on the screen that says "Are you sure you want to die?"
So, this will be long post but bear with me. I just saw your "Year in Review 2024" it shows Lin is at C5 even though she has only one corruption meaning maxed corruption. There is a lot you can give to Lin. You can give her a status that is called something other than corruption like levels or bonding. I noticed the main character gives massages throughout the game so why not have it as a trait. One level (L1) could be called Wisdom; you can ask her for sexual technique advice. One level (L2a) could be called "Masseur"; Lin finds your hands to be pleasurable, just not in the way you hoped for. One level (L2b) could be a level under Masseur called "Slipped"; during one of your massage sessions, she asked for a below the skirt massage. One level (L3) could be called "Like Riding a Bike"; Lin couldn't contain her desires for a man any longer and during a massage session where she was topless gave you a blowjob during the massage. One level (L4a) could be called "Decision"; Lin has talked with Lisa about how she has felt the urge to have sex with a guy one time and after a long discussion both have agreed but it has to be with someone who feels close to them, like the main character. One level (L4b) could be called "Fertile" or "Maternal Urges"; Lin has talked with Lisa about how she has felt the urge to have a baby and after a long discussion both have agreed but it has to be natural insemination and with someone who feels close to them, like the main character. I'm so glad I supported this game. So many belly laughs in addition to the NSFW content. I'd like to offer some help in the form of dialogue proofreading. Small stuff like question marks in odd places, to vs. too, small typos etc.
The best place to do this is on the discord. There is a bug channel, feel free to flood it with any grammar mistakes you find. I treasure each and every bug report, no matter how small. They are each an expression of people liking my game enough to want to help make it better.
Ah, that is there so that I don't have to go update it for the inevitable moment when I do allow the hypnosis training earlier. It's gonna happen, just not yet. But there is no content for Lisa that requires it.
Given it requires specific scenes to have been written, I think the ones currently available (which will slowly increase over time) are alex, haily and jenny
Hey, was hoping to get help with Haily C4 quest. when hunting for her, I got all of them except her talking to Carla. cant seem to activate the event unless I'm not going after the haily quest. is there a prerequisite for the event to show up when she's missing? Maybe some love level I need for each of them?
Nunu, I have an issue and three questions. So, I play the Android (.apk) version through a program called BlueStacks, because my PC for some unknown reason, won't run it. This is the error message, followed by the log file contents I get when trying to play on PC:

When you make side Cabin by the Lake games like Halloween Lina, Lisa's Cryptic Quest, Secret Lina, Anniversaries etc. the icon for all of them are the same as the main game in terms of the Android version. It takes some time for me to find the correct side game I want to play (BlueStacks only shows the games icon and "Cabin by the ..."). Also, a weird thing is that when I play Halloween Lina on BlueStacks it says "Cabin by the Lake SL2" as in Secret Lina 2.
My questions are why don't you make custom icons for the specials? Why are the 2nd Anniversary download links broken/unavailable? The main game can be directly downloaded in the download section of this site, so why not do the same with the side Cabin by the Lake games?
What about the issue with Alex's missing unlock messages/mail from the cheat menu, unlocking Haily's messages/mail with the cheat menu leaves the last two messages/mail locked, unlocking Jenny's messages/mail with the cheat menu leaves the last message/mail locked, unlocking Lin's messages/mail with the cheat menu leaves the last two messages/mail locked, and unlocking Lina's messages/mail with the cheat menu leaves the "Cum inside Lina while she is fertile and completing her Corruption 5" aka LinaSMS21 ":)" message. I also was curious and checked your rpyc files and learned some things. I think it hints Jenny has a corruption level called Devourer and Maiden. And finally, Lin, Cassidy, and to a degree, Lisa, I know we just had a poll but the fact that they still only have 1-2 corruption levels, while Sami, Alex, and Haily, have 8 is shocking.
The cheat menu is hard coded and I don't always remember to update it... It's not normally a priority as the things should™ be accessible in game.
Jenny does have those corruption levels, with her C4 being another split level.
As for some characters being left behind in levels. Lin is already completely realized as a character, and she's not a perfect woman, but she doesn't really have much more room to grow... emotionally I mean, she will obviously be getting pregnant.
Lisa and Cassidy have been lagging behind because they aren't chosen in polls very often. This compared to Haily, who has won every poll she has been in and rapidly rushed to completion.
I have an interesting idea. Similar to the "?" function, you could include a function to be an unlocking mail guide. The icon could be a ✉, be above or below the scene map button and have the same character icons on the left of the screen as the "?" layout. If you want to unlock a specific mail like Alex's "Clothes that 'Fit'" clicking the mail lock icon will say "Tracking mail", the map will have a ✉ on the "Forest with Alex" square by the red and purple corruption points small circles. In the "Forest with Alex" section it will have an ✉ on "Talk Normally" then "Why aren't your pants done up?" If it is an already unlocked mail it will be

I do not speak chinese and a translation that I would be confident is good is prohibitively expensive.

I think you may have to click on her in the end loop, she can be hard to see but is in the spot the other girls appear.

i did that at one point and got my run reset by the entity. never got an achievement though unless i was suppose to do it a second time

Sami is unique in that, by the end of the game, you will be able to sleep with her at C0... she just needs the right motivation.

As you explore other characters, you may come across situations wwhere you 'burn' them. Effectively disabling the character for the rest of the run.

Hi, are hypnosis lessons transferable? Because I have an event that could benefit on Saturday and the lessons don't arrive until Sunday.
It is not currently. Though, there isn't any content that requires the hypnosis lesson on saturday.
It's not required, but it's mentioned in the choice tree to hypnotize Lisa.
Ah, that is there so that I don't have to go update it for the inevitable moment when I do allow the hypnosis training earlier. It's gonna happen, just not yet. But there is no content for Lisa that requires it.

Hey, was hoping to get help with Haily C4 quest. when hunting for her, I got all of them except her talking to Carla. cant seem to activate the event unless I'm not going after the haily quest. is there a prerequisite for the event to show up when she's missing? Maybe some love level I need for each of them?

I lowered Carla to C2 or 3 and it seemed to solve it for me

i believe i found some errors,it more on any of the events related to asking lina on corrupt 1 any of the 3 favors
apparently you cant open the route map and it causes a error,and i say it during any of the 3 favors,and the choice menu of the favors
edit:nvm,i think it the favor route that it cant be entered,even trying to see so causes a crash
Nunu, I have an issue and three questions. So, I play the Android (.apk) version through a program called BlueStacks, because my PC for some unknown reason, won't run it. This is the error message, followed by the log file contents I get when trying to play on PC:

When you make side Cabin by the Lake games like Halloween Lina, Lisa's Cryptic Quest, Secret Lina, Anniversaries etc. the icon for all of them are the same as the main game in terms of the Android version. It takes some time for me to find the correct side game I want to play (BlueStacks only shows the games icon and "Cabin by the ..."). Also, a weird thing is that when I play Halloween Lina on BlueStacks it says "Cabin by the Lake SL2" as in Secret Lina 2.
My questions are why don't you make custom icons for the specials? Why are the 2nd Anniversary download links broken/unavailable? The main game can be directly downloaded in the download section of this site, so why not do the same with the side Cabin by the Lake games?

The final point is easy to answer though, all the anniversary specials are available in the main games Extra's menu.
What about the issue with Alex's missing unlock messages/mail from the cheat menu, unlocking Haily's messages/mail with the cheat menu leaves the last two messages/mail locked, unlocking Jenny's messages/mail with the cheat menu leaves the last message/mail locked, unlocking Lin's messages/mail with the cheat menu leaves the last two messages/mail locked, and unlocking Lina's messages/mail with the cheat menu leaves the "Cum inside Lina while she is fertile and completing her Corruption 5" aka LinaSMS21 ":)" message. I also was curious and checked your rpyc files and learned some things. I think it hints Jenny has a corruption level called Devourer and Maiden. And finally, Lin, Cassidy, and to a degree, Lisa, I know we just had a poll but the fact that they still only have 1-2 corruption levels, while Sami, Alex, and Haily, have 8 is shocking.
The cheat menu is hard coded and I don't always remember to update it... It's not normally a priority as the things should™ be accessible in game.
Jenny does have those corruption levels, with her C4 being another split level.
As for some characters being left behind in levels. Lin is already completely realized as a character, and she's not a perfect woman, but she doesn't really have much more room to grow... emotionally I mean, she will obviously be getting pregnant.
Lisa and Cassidy have been lagging behind because they aren't chosen in polls very often. This compared to Haily, who has won every poll she has been in and rapidly rushed to completion.
I have an interesting idea. Similar to the "?" function, you could include a function to be an unlocking mail guide. The icon could be a ✉, be above or below the scene map button and have the same character icons on the left of the screen as the "?" layout. If you want to unlock a specific mail like Alex's "Clothes that 'Fit'" clicking the mail lock icon will say "Tracking mail", the map will have a ✉ on the "Forest with Alex" square by the red and purple corruption points small circles. In the "Forest with Alex" section it will have an ✉ on "Talk Normally" then "Why aren't your pants done up?" If it is an already unlocked mail it will be
