NYC Wedding and Events Florist on Instagram: "Demure, mindful, modest floral ✨ Additional tips: stop and smell your roses, talk to your snap dragons ✔️My go-to way of creating low and lush centerpieces, and here are the steps: 1. Cross cross 4 roses to create a grid inside of the vase 2. Add in the “stemmy” flowers like spray roses and thistle to create more grid and lines inside. This makes the other flower insertion easier. 3. Add in the taller flowers, and find their balance in height and shape of the overall arrangement. 4. Add your textures— here I’m using Queen Anne’s lace, nigella, and that cute jasmine vine at the end. 5. Save for later and follow, like, and share 🤩"

My Recipe below, I’m grouping them to help you to create a similar design when putting together your floral ingredients: Face flowers and Textural flowers. Optional but my design must-have: Gestural / whimsical flowers. Face flowers: Shimmer rose Peach garden rose Pin cushion Butterfly ranunculus Texture: Rust celosia Smoke bush flowers (the bush part) Smoke bush foliage Gestural whimsical: Crocosmia flower Crocosmia pods Flower food: This time I used a lemon wedge + bleach. I completely forgot the sugar!! 😏 Sugar + lemon (citric acid) to help with hydration. Bleach (just 1-2 drops) to kill bacteria. The acid from the lemon can also kill the bacteria but I used a drop of bleach for extra caution. No sweat in for

NYC Wedding and Events Florist on Instagram: "Tulips are here 🌷The easiest way to arrange them. Here’s a step by step: 1. Clean the bottom leaves off. 2. Place each stem on a flat surface, aligning them neatly from the top of the heads. 3. Stack them into a pyramid. 4. Gently and firmly grab them all together by the stem. 5. Cut straight across with a sharp clean knife 🔪 measured to your vase. 6. Use a clear rubber band to hold the stems. 7. Add water to your vase and place the bouquet in. 8. NYC Wedding and Events Florist on Instagram: "Here’s a trick for bent stems.. a simple wire. It works best with soft or hollow stems. The ranunculus can be one of those pesky flowers that bend.. it’s not broken though so don’t throw away or cut short! The fibers for water absorption are still intact 🤩🧡 ✔️Save this post for later ✔️Share to let others know ✔️Like and Follow for more flower arranging"
