Learning that there will be thirteen guests, the son of the house, insists his mother invite Alice to join the party. The rich girl, jealous because she loves the rich chap, dresses Alice up in a ridiculous outfit, making her the butt of the party, but the hero still likes the girl and risks his life to save her when a fight ensues and Alice falls out the window holding to the end of a strip of hall carpet.
