Donna is told by Jayne that she is nominated for Nurse of the Year much to her and the rest of the staff's amazement. Connie tells Jayne she wants Stuart dismissed now that she is back. Sam tells Connie that he has cancer which shocks Connie. Chrissie refuses Stuart's suggestion of going to counseling but after an incident with a patient and a talk with Sam she re-thinks his suggestion and decides to pursue a relationship with him and tells Connie she has asked for a transfer away from her to AEU.
