He and his girlfriend, a diamond smuggling model, go straight and attempt to pay it forward with motivational speeches, mentorship and altruism. All hell breaks loose when they are drawn back into the criminal world. Set in the late 1980s and early 90s, the film weaves together three compelling and inspirational true stories, and connects the characters in a unique and meaningful way. The theme is the choices young people make and the resulting consequences. When home burglaries were at their peak in the tristate area of New York and New Jersey, jewelry was the prime target. Thus emerged a fascinating and unique diamond smuggling operation that was born out of those robberies. Enter the 'Model Transporters'; fashion models hired by the Jewish and Italian mafia to transport the stolen loot overseas. The film showcases this historic phenomenon integrated with a hero's journey of inspiration and motivation. See less
