This game was fun. If I needed to give criticism, I would say the weapon is a bit boring, and the rhinos shouldn't be able to switch direction when in wind-up stage. Those are of course only my opinions, and the game was great.
Excellent game! The art is fantastic, I love the limited color palette and how you worked on the readability of the characters' silhouettes. Super fun! PS: I hate that damn frog!

Dude this game is fun asf holy good job man. I was just on this site for some sprite frames to put into Godot and saw this and thought y not give it a try. Glad I did!
The game is really good. Love the art, music and style. The pacing stresses me out, though, and not in a good way. At first I didn't understand why my shots were stopping since in the instructions it said "hold left mouse button". The very fast shots and long time waiting between recharging is a real turn down. I think having slower shots would help with that. Maybe less time between chargin also, so the player isn't idle for as long.
I also really like that you gave the option of moving with mouse or keyboard (:
Well, the ending hints at a secret ending that may not have been implemented - though dev hasn't responded to the question about secret endings, so maybe there is something?
If there is a secret, you don't get it by having a zero-damage run (just tried that), or by shooting the walls (tried) or, it seems, by having the enemies run into the walls.

I agree! Stage one for instance felt very sluggish because it wasn't too difficult and it was taking kinda long to kill the basic enemies.
