Let's elevate this sucker. Check it out. Score this lawn chair frame for a couple of bucks secondhand. Now, you might overlook this because you can't sit in it but I knew that if I brought it home, I could combine it with these two teeth cutting boards that I had and create a really fun designer kind of cool folding chair that could be used anywhere. So, what you want to do is you want to get your folding chair frame. If it's got the little pieces across, you can always cut those you know, you can find one at garage sale and then, get a coat of whatever paint you want. I sanded a little bit, use black paint. Then, I had these two tea cutting boards that happen to be the right length across. My two cutting boards are 18 inches across and that seemed to be the exact length that I need to fit on the chair. I was going to do planks or maybe some cool rugs or something but once I put these on, I thought how cool is this going to look? So, a little bit of glue, Gorilla Glue Construction Adhesive is fabulous for things like this. They will not once you put them on. So a line on the two sides of the bottom and couple lines on the top. Hold them in place for a moment until it dries and then that's it. Your chair is done. It folds up exactly the same. Definitely takes an old kind of retro lawn chair and create something very cool. Great for a back deck. Small spaces where you need chairs for your dining room table you need to fold up. So think outside the box. Have the upcycling.
