Vas Karpetas on Instagram: "Growing Hydrangea Annabelle has become a bit of a obsession for me so I thought why not do a video for you all to see the progress and how they hold up by staking them . What do you think ? #gardenerslife #gardenersworld #instagardeners #gardenersofinstagram #gardeners #nature #gardenlove #gardens #gardeninspiration #gardendesign #flowers #plants #gardenlife #garden #gardening #hydrangea #hydrangeas #rhs"
Vas Karpetas on Instagram: "You can definitely see the difference between Annabelle and Incrediball I have to remove some of my Annabelle’s in the Autumn and replace it with Incrediball because nobody likes a floppy head . My garden is mostly Incrediball but I always stake them because with that extra support they stand tall as you can see . What are your thoughts on Incrediball (strong Annabelle) ? #gardenerslife #gardenersworld #instagardeners #gardenersofinstagram #gardeners #nature #gardenlove #gardens #gardeninspiration #gardendesign #flowers #plants #gardenlife #garden #gardening #hydrangea #hydrangeas #rhs #gardentutorial #formalgarden"
Tracy Crosland 🌸 on Instagram: "Confession ⬇️⬇️⬇️ I LOVE BLUE AND PINK HYDRANGEAS! 🩵💗 (Mophead hydrangeas) I went on a girls’ trip to Nantucket 🤩 and saw the most outrageous flawless hydrangeas 😍in blue and pink…but back home in Tennessee 🧡 the leaves of those same hydrangeas are covered in black spots by the end of the season. 😭 You may find a great summer or two for your TN mophead hydrangeas ☀️but most of them struggle every other year. Do you agree?? 🤓 Instead, I’ve started growing the EASY PEASY panicle and round hydrangeas. 👏👏👏 They offer so much impact for such a small amount of effort. Not to say I’ll never try another blue 🩵 hydrangea - I’m pretty sure I will - but I’ll never trade them in for the reliability and beauty of my other hydrangeas. 😊 What hydrangea ques

The Urban Potager | gardening, foraging, homesteading, recipes on Instagram: "The bit I struggled with most when I got this garden was the dark, northeast-facing corner. The gloom isn’t helped there by being in the shade of the big plum tree. My garden is made up almost entirely of edible or medicinal plants but not many edibles like deep shade. So here I’ve made an exception. A beautiful exception. This is a hydrangea, but very different from the big, blousy pink and purple numbers that grace so many front gardens. It is Hydrangea petiolaris, a deciduous climbing hydrangea. It does best in deep shade or partial shade and, once established, it climbs without needing support and will easily cover an unsightly fence or even the wall of a house. It’s a great one for year round interes
Jennifer Gizzi on Instagram: "Save for your future hydrangea garden! Here’s a quick description of the hydrangeas I’ve used and love! I can’t wait to come up with the perfect combination for our new home in Tennessee! 🌿 Incrediball: These have massive, sturdy blooms that can handle any weather. They’re perfect for making a bold statement because they can grow so tall and are less prone to drooping like the Annabelle. 🔥 Quick Fire: The earliest blooming of my hydrangeas. They start white and turn pink-red as the season goes on. I love using them to fill a large corner since they grow tall and wide. 🌸 Bobos: These compact beauties are a new favorite for me - covered in large white cone flowers that turn pink. They’re perfect for smaller spaces and containers. 💚 Limelight: Famous fo
Lisa Vann on Instagram: "Gardening with Hydrangeas Now I prefer a pink hydrangea (obvs) but if you want a blue or purple hydrangea just add a copper coin or ground coffee to the soil near the root…. FACT… save for later.
