France, Paris Rue des Beaux-Arts - opened without authorization in 1825, is a private road until 1931. Mr. Detroyes, owner of the old hotel of La Rochefoucauld, conceived the project without prior authorization from the administration. To be rue des Beaux-Arts, because of its outlet in front of the entrance of the School of Fine Arts. At first closed by gates it was authorized as a public passage, by an order of the Prefect of Police, February 17, 1848.
