About Me

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Kentucky. I received my Ph.D. in Psychology under Dr. Clifford Saron in the Perception, Cognition & Cognitive Neuroscience area at the University of California, Davis. I then worked as a Postdoctoral Associate with Dr. Amishi Jha in the Department of Psychology at the University of Miami.

I study attention and the wandering mind, the millisecond dynamics of electrophysiological brain states, and how training in mindfulness and meditation might improve our ability to focus.

I will be recruiting Ph.D. students in the next recruitment cycle to join my lab at the University of Kentucky in the Fall of 2025.
