Experimental Equestrian Farm Water Management
Currently, in the multi-billion dollar equestrian industry there are no experimental research facilities. The University of Kentucky has the unique opportunity to be the first to design and manage water runoff, drainage, and containment to be a model for further equine farms. Proper water management will be achieved through the use of topographical maps, GIS, and watershed analysis of the surrounding landscape.
