I absolutely loved this game. It was so weird, but in a good way, lol. Here is the video I recorded.I made a video of both the "VHS Paradise" game and "SLICE."
After the bike and getting ran over by the car, I got stuck in a room with 3 cages, 2 valves, and 1 locked door. I got the gun and the 3 cages down but I can't figure out how to continue on. If anyone has suggestions on what to do I'll be very thankful for your input.
Really liked it! First game played here at Itch. Good start for me:). Experienced no bugs or inconveniences but tried to go after the car and reached the blocks. Took some time to find the door under the building, but only because I visited it before car leaves. Thank you spikely for such an awesome exp!
That’s actually apart of the mechanics of the boss battle. The flesh creatures chase you and steal your gun then they run and hide in one of the 4 corners. You just have to walk up to them and steal your gun back.
I wanted to stay away from using a traditional health system and try something different for this project
I've noticed that sometimes (it seems to be when I steal my gun back immediately after they take it) the gun disappears entirely and no prompt to pick it up appears. This happened to me three separate times.
hello i need some help, every time i open the game its just a white screen, and ive checked other games and its just this one that's not working. sorry for the trouble

Why did you choose Unity? I loved the jump scares by the way.
Because it runs really well on my laptop and I’m pretty used to the interface!
I’m thinking of switching to Godot at some point but I’m not a huge fan of GDScript. (I can’t stand statically typed languages)

Maybe the gun can be used to unlock the door somehow… ;)
I tried clicking E at the door with the gun but nothing happens nor anything shows up

The lock on the door seems destructible, and you can shoot the gun with left mouse button.

I unfortunantly haven't been able to get it to launch. I installed it and ran it through itch, but all that shows up is a white window. :(
Try playing it through a browser if you haven’t yet! Some people are encountering issues when using the itch app it seems.
Figured (spoiler!) that the last bit was a jump scare so walked backwards. Did not disappoint.

What browser are you using? Maybe try Chrome if you haven’t yet. Also make sure to click in the game window once it’s done loading.
This issue seems to occur when using the itch.io app, but it works fine in Chrome.

Okay, I got hit by one of the walking meat things and I lost my gun, so the boss fight is impossible.
I didn’t have that issue, but I did have two immortal meat things following me around after the boss was already dead.
They just wanted to befriend you!
(JK, I ran outta time in the jam to fix this bug)
The meat creatures steal your gun and run to the corner to hide. You have to find them and take it back!
