All majors are welcome to apply for the Field Studies in Costa Rica NRE 320-710 course in summer 2025. The course explores a variety of topics such as tropical ecology, biodiversity, energy policies, and sustainable agriculture.

2024 Design Career Fair
The Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment's Department of Landscape Architecture is collaborating with the College of Design to host the 2024 Design Career Fair. On Friday, February 23, we will welcome nearly 60 firms from 12 states to the Gatton Student Center Ballroom. The fair runs from 9am to 3pm. All are welcome to attend.

Martin-Gatton CAFE is seeking student ambassadors for the 2024-25 academic year.
The Student Ambassador program is a select group of undergraduate leaders who model and tell the story of our college, its mission and programs, as well as the University of Kentucky. Approximately 30 ambassadors will be selected next year. Ambassadors are expected to serve one full year and must reapply should they wish to continue for subsequent years.

Education Abroad
- The College is accepting applications for its Summer 2023 "Mountains to Coast: Field Studies in Costa Rica" education abroad program running July 21 to August 4. All students with an interest in environmental sciences are encouraged to participate and will earn credit for NRE 320: Natural Resource and Environmental Analysis.
