Hi Gerry,
>I appear to have lost KAMA and KSHV about 1826Z 6AUG. I'm not seeing it

>Level III data from those sites.
I checked for the receipt of KAMA and KSHV data on two different machines,
one being fed from the CRAFT (OU) path, and the other from the NWS
relay (radars -> regional HQs -> MAX -> atm.geo.nsf.gov). Neither
show current data for KAMA or KSHV.
The last KAMA data I see was at 13:03Z on the 7th:
$ ls -alt | head -3
total 136964
drwxrwxr-x 2 ldm Unidata 8192 Aug 7 09:11 .
-rw-rw-r-- 1 ldm Unidata 743243 Aug 7 09:07 KAMA_20040807_1303
The last KSHV data I see was at 23:38Z on the 7th:
$ ls -alt | head -3
total 92072
drwxrwxr-x 2 ldm Unidata 8192 Aug 8 11:17 .
-rw-rw-r-- 1 ldm Unidata 460991 Aug 7 19:49 KSHV_20040807_2338
I noticed that both of these images were not complete as if the
transmission of the data had been cut during a scan.
At the same time, I see current data for other stations reporting
Level II data:
$ ls -alt | head -3
total 206184
drwxrwxr-x 2 ldm Unidata 8192 Aug 8 11:28 .
-rw-rw-r-- 1 ldm Unidata 523737 Aug 8 11:28 KABR_20040808_1518
Given the above, I must assume that there is some problem at the
site that injects the data into the IDD.
>Thanks, Gerry
Later...
Tom
