I can't tell what's wrong without more information.

An upstream LDM that was sending to Dataportal had the following in its
log file:

> > Jul 6 14:38:58 ldm1 dataportal[32361] INFO: Connection from
> > dataportal.ucar.edu
> > Jul 6 14:38:58 ldm1 dataportal[32361] INFO: Exiting
...

> > dataportal.ucar.edu
> > Jul 6 14:39:58 ldm1 dataportal[32369] INFO: Exiting

What were the corresponding entries in Dataportal's LDM log file?

Does a notifyme(1) executing on Dataport and requesting the same
data-products work correctly?

Regards,
Steve Emmerson
