Your ldmd.conf request lines look correct:

request IDS|DDPLUS      ".*"    idd.unidata.ucar.edu    PRIMARY
request HDS     ".*"    idd.unidata.ucar.edu    PRIMARY
request UNIWISC ".*"    idd.unidata.ucar.edu    PRIMARY

request IDS|DDPLUS      ".*"    moingobe.cptec.inpe.br  ALTERNATE
request HDS     ".*"    moingobe.cptec.inpe.br  ALTERNATE
request UNIWISC ".*"    moingobe.cptec.inpe.br  ALTERNATE

It is possible that you were not receiving any IDS|DDPLUS data when you
ran the 'ldmadmin watch -f IDS' command.  This can happen if/when:

- there is no new data to receive (not very likely since IDS|DDPLUS has
  new products all of the time)

- your system clock is off so that your request was requesting data from
  the upstream host whose time is in the future.

Please verify that your system clock is correct.  We strongly recommend
running ntpd to keep your clock accurate.

OK.  Let's take one step at a time.

You may need to set some environment variables.  I will have a look when
I get a chance to logon to your system (this will not be for awhile as
we are in the midst of our training workshops).

to wait for a number of days since we are in the middle of our training
workshop series at the moment.
