Hi Jim,

Hmm... which small problem? The last time we chatted the McIDAS v2007
build was failing on cyclone (or was that the machine??) due to some strange
parsing of a Bourne shell script.

Yes, I see.

The cause of images created for one's website not updating could be in
a number of different places. For instance:
- is the data that is to be displayed supposed to be ingested from the
IDD using the LDM? (McIDAS can access data from remote ADDE servers,
so ingesting the data locally is not actually necessary.)
- if the data is supposed to be received by your LDM installation, are
you actually receiving the data?
For instance, I just logged onto cyclone.natnet.du.edu and see that
the LDM is not running. Is it supposed to be?
- if cyclone is supposed to be ingesting data from the IDD, there could
still be problems in the setup for creating the images for the website.
Since I see that the timestamp on the LDM PID file is May 29, I will
restart the LDM to see if the generation of website images restarts.
Cheers,
Tom
