Hi Hsie,

It should be the directory in which the remote ADDE shell configuration
file .mcenv exists. A typical installation of McIDAS is in /home/mcidas.
You have changed yours to /home/mcidas/<os>. Your .mcenv file that
is pertinent to the Solaris McIDAS stuff is /home/mcidas/solaris.
The inetd.conf values for the '-H' flag should, therefore, be
/home/mcidas/solaris. In saying this, I am assuming that you do
not want to put .mcenv in /home/mcidas since the setup you created
allows for code etc. to exist in an OS-specific subdirectory of
/home/mcidas.

Yes. This reflects the changes I made about an hour ago.

Super! I am now able to access the remote ADDE server on stratus
from my home machine. Thanks for the quick help!!

Thank you!
Cheers,
