Our license with the University of Wisconsin's (UW) Space Science and
Engineering Center (SSEC) to distribute McIDAS allows us to distribute
to educational institutions worldwide.  We are allowed to give access
to our distribution of McIDAS (Unidata McIDAS, a superset of SSEC's
McIDAS) to non-educational institutions _if_ they are members in good
standing of the McIDAS User's Group (MUG) (meaning that they are licensed
for McIDAS by SSEC and are MUG members).  Several non-education MUG
members currently get McIDAS from Unidata, but we are obliged to cutoff
access to them if their MUG membership lapses.
