[McIDAS #JVP-171902]: Loading TIFF images in McIDAS

TIFF is not one of the image file formats supported for ADDE serving in
McIDAS-X.

No.  Display of TIFF files is, I believe, supported in McIDAS-V, so you
may want to investigate using McIDAS-V.

Probably, but I do not have a reference for where such a data set would
be available.

Again, McIDAS-X does not support TIFF as a format that can be served by ADDE.
In fact, TIFF should not have any map registration information at all.
GeoTIFF has such information, and it is supported as an output format by
McIDAS-X, but not as a format that it can server via ADDE.
