About This Show
EdCast is a program created by educators to tackle today’s most pressing education issues. Hosted by literacy expert and CUNY professor Dr. Linda Hirsch, EdCast brings together diverse and expert viewpoints to provide in-depth analysis of issues from pre-K to post-secondary instruction. Through interviews with notable educators, researchers, authors, students and government leaders, the program seeks to clarify the often-polarizing conversations surrounding education today – frequently delving into important topics well-before the popular press.
