Campus updates for Winter Break 2024
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Dec. 6, 2024) — Winter Break is almost here! Many students are preparing to leave, while others are planning to stay on campus. University of Kentucky facilities will have adjusted hours of operation to accommodate.
- UK Dining: Many dining locations will have adjusted hours. Find the list of locations and hours here.
- UK Housing: Non-break residence halls will close noon Dec. 21, and reopen noon Jan. 11. Students are expected to check out 24 hours after their last fall exam.
- UK Libraries: Many libraries will be closed during the break. You can find the full list of libraries and their hours here.
- UK Transportation Services: There are several parking and transportation-related changes on campus during the break. Learn more here. Check UK Transportation’s website to get the latest parking information.
- Regional airport shuttles: UK Transportation Services offers free regional airport shuttles. Make sure to register for your seat here.
