LEXINGTON, Va. – VMI Men's Soccer had all the momentum in the second half, but could not recover as the Keydets fell in the season finale to Wofford at Patchin Field Saturday afternoon.
Despite scoring a late goal and having possession inside the box in the final minutes, the Keydets (5-10-2, 0-5-0) were stopped short of victory by the Terriers (7-6-2, 3-2), 2-1. VMI will be the sixth seed in the upcoming Southern Conference Championship while Wofford, who currently stands as the two seed, awaits their fate from matches Saturday night.
