The film dives into the history of SOUL! and the man who created it, Ellis Haizlip. The Dueling Critics, Kerry Reid and Jonathan Abarbanel, join remotely to discuss a series of video plays by Chicago-based theater company SILK ROAD RISING. WDCB’s Leslie Keros talks to pianist Ryan Cohan about his new album, ORGINATIONS. And later in the program, Gary catches up with author Jennie Fields to talk about her new Chicago-set novel ATOMIC LOVE.
