COD Meteorology Suggestions and Comments Page

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR FORM:
  • Is there a problem? We may already know about it. Sometimes, you ARE the first responder to a problem occurring on our site. However, if you want to be sure that we don't already know about the issue, check the following social media outlets: NEXLAB Facebook, CODMeteorology Twitter , and CODWxData Twitter. Also check the 'Attention User' messages on all of our data pages: Analysis, Satellite and Radar, Numerical Models, and Text. If your issue has not recently been acknowledged by any of these outlets, LET US KNOW!
  • We try to avoid it, but sometimes it is necessary for us to change URLs to images and pages. If you have come here as a result of a 404 error, please go to https://weather.cod.edu and try to navigate to the page or product you were looking for. We find this often happens for people that "deep link" to our pages or content rather than using our navigation interface. We strongly recommend our users to avoid doing this. If our interface is not to your liking, we completely understand and welcome your suggestions. However, by using it you help us make sure that we are getting you the correct content and not an obsolete product or page that will soon be removed, perhaps without warning.
  • WE DO NOT STORE PAST WEATHER DATA of any kind beyond what is already available via the webpage. Our storage capabilities are limited to what is feasible to create the experience we present on the webpage. No data remains on our servers for any longer than 7 days; In most cases even less. Our general response to all of these cases is; If its not on our webpage, we no longer have it on our servers. Grab what you want while you can with the tools available on each product page.
  • If you are interested in our Storm Chasing Program, please see our Storm Chase Page and join our Mailing List for information on trip availability and important meetings.
  • BE DETAILED IN YOUR COMMENTS! If you are contacting us because of a broken page, product, or feature on our site, here is a list of specific information that can GREATLY help us quickly diagnose the problem; What page you are using (include URL! Right-click -> Copy Link Address 'or' View Frame Source)? How did you get to that page (meaning, what link did you click and how did you navigate to it)? What type of device you are using to access the page? What is the operating system of that device? What browser and browser version are you using? When did you first notice the problem occuring?
  • We appreciate positive feedback too! Users often tend to write us when something breaks, which is exactly what this form is for (among other things). However, we often get feedback from users with comments about products, features, and content that they are happy we offer. Please do not be shy to share ALL of your thoughts, good and bad! We take all the feedback we can get and we're very thick skinned! We offer this site for FREE after all, but we are committed to improving!
  • Feel free to contact us on Facebook and Twitter. We regularly check our Facebook and Twitter accounts and are more than happy to publically or privately respond to any and all concerns via these mediums as well. Preferred methods of contact would be to send our FB page a message, and on Twitter to mention @CODMeteorology and/or @CODWxData in your tweet and we will see your message.
