February 6, 2007 - It was announced early today that Manhunt 2 is coming to the Wii. The news story and teaser video can be found here. Not only is this one of the most violent, depraved games ever created by Rockstar it is also a next-gen exclusive to the Nintendo console. It is also being released on PlayStation 2 and PSP. When I heard that Nintendo would be more open to third party developers I never imagined this would be one of the results. Is this good for the console? How many ways can you imagine murdering people with the Wiimote? How will this go over with former non-gamers who were attracted to Wii's approachability and family friendly attitude?
