When we set out to create the expansion to Titan Quest, Hades was an obvious choice. It was the one realm of Greek mythology that we hadn't yet touched. The possibility for some great new settings, monsters, and a new epic tale set in the afterlife was just too much of a temptation. For Immortal Throne, we decided to create a story about the repercussions that follow the conclusion of Titan Quest. You have saved the world, literally, but not before your enemies have done some pretty serious damage. Not only is the globe still filled with monsters, but the gods have decided they're leaving mortal problems to the mortals, while they keep a safer distance from everything. So we asked ourselves, who and what was staying in line just because the gods were there, laying down the law? This is where the main idea for Immortal Throne began.

Various game files get edited when modding or adding enhancements to your game. Our patch section hosts both necessary game files that are often changed and each of the patches released for Titan Quest. Whether you are reinstalling the game or tinkering with the files, TQVault should have all the patch and essential files for your particular game version - release to present.
Thanks go to SoulSeekkor for collecting the original files that we started the Patches and Necessary Files section with.
First let me thank the guys over at Iron Lore for working with the community by providing the information, it's easy to blast development houses when the do something wrong, so here's a huge thumbs up for giving back to the community and doing right (not that I've ever thought they weren't great at keeping in touch with us).
So, head on over http://www.titancalc.com and start planning those builds, some of the new skills look like a TON of fun.
If you have issues seeing the new updates or in general PLEASE clear your cache, I try not to force refreshes to help conserve bandwidth and keep banners off the site.
If you still have problems please report your bugs via the email address on the site or via this thread. I fat fingered all this stuff in so there could be a number of typos/misspellings etc.

I apologize for my absence last month with my usual state of the game post. As you can well imagine we have been going like crazy here to finish up TQ Immortal Throne. I am happy to announce we finally have the new website up which features the trailer, some new screen shots, some cool wallpaper as well as a bunch of links to TQIT press and interviews.
That can be found and consumed here:
http://www.titanquestgame.com/
Folks can also expect to see a bunch of preview coverage from the media in the next few weeks - I believe Game Spot had theirs up already at the end of last week. Dev Diary 03 should be hitting the airwaves in the near future as well as more installments of the Designers Guides over at IGN. I think Gametrailers.com even has the hi-rez version of the TQIT trailer which looks pretty sweet.
There should be a lot of new information coming to the TitanCalc website in the next few weeks about the dream mastery. We have been working with Mark to try and get him what he needs to get the new skill tab plugged into his matrix so people can start experimenting with some builds. Im sure he will be posting in the forums when he has that all incorporated. That can be found here:
http://www.titancalc.com/
Also for those interested, I recently did an interview with Mix magazine about game audio and there is a bit of info in there about the TQ games so some of you may find it interesting. That is available online at:
Other than that we are in great shape to meet our March 5th ship date! The team is catching a little bit of a breather and then we are ramping back up on a whole bunch of stuff that I of course can not talk about!! But thats how it goes in the ever so glamorous world of video game production.
Hope everyone has a great weekend... and I shall see you all in Hades soon!!
"When Immortal Throne was announced it was like Christmas had come early. I've been playing Titan Quest (TQ) since its release. I've seen TQ slowly mature from v1.01 to v1.20. Though the road to its maturity may have been a bit rough I can definitely say its development was focused on one thing; making a balanced, intriguing, and enjoyable video game whether you're an RPG or hack n' slash fan of the videogame genre."

Great info, great news, and a great editorial this week. Immortal Throne is almost here!
Last year's Titan Quest did a solid job of combining the hack-and-slash gameplay of action role-playing games with a cutting-edge 3D graphics engine. In the game, you traveled around the ancient, sun-drenched Mediterranean world and the Far East, battling an almost endless number of monsters, demons, and spirits in the quest to defeat the bad guy and become more powerful along the way. Now developer Iron Lore is prepping Titan Quest: Immortal Throne, an expansion due out later this summer. We had a chance to take a work-in-progress version of the expansion for a test drive of sorts, and it's safe to say that Immortal Throne won't change things up too dramatically. Instead, Iron Lore has taken an "if it's not broke, don't fix it" approach to the expansion.

Kalia D'Malen had contacted several modders to interview them about their custom modules and utilities. Those interviewed were Soulseekkor, ToH Klidan, MaDMaN, Maximvs, Fingle, and Bman654. Each one answered a few general questions about their affinity for modding and one or two questions about the particular mod or utility they created.
Read up on the story behind some of our favorite mods and modders in the Modder Interview section!
Titan Quest was the first offering by relatively new developer Iron Lore Entertainment. The game was released back in June of 2006, and although it wasn't quite the Diablo-killer that some touted it to be, Titan Quest was definitely a worthy diversion for those who enjoy a good action/RPG every now and again. Titan Quest was well received by the press although there were a few snags that held it back from perfection. Most notably of these was the overzealous loot system and players amassing more money than there were items to spend it on.
